I finally made it in to try this place out. Listen, I love hotdogs. This place had such good hotdogs I had to order more for the road. It is my mission to try everything on the menu and every combination possible. I'm so glad to find an awesome hotdog shop north of downtown Pittsburgh! It's close to work and on my way home, so I definitely will be becoming a regular. The staff is very nice, informative, and chill! I can't wait to stop again. Please check out this shop, it's a must! Support a local AWESOME hotdog joint!

This was my first time at Pittsburgh Street Dogs, but it won't be my last. I'm not a big hot dog eater, but these were delicious. I got a Detroit Coney (hold the mustard) and the balance of chili to do as well as the amount of cheese was perfect. The bun was incredibly fresh and soft, but did not crumble or disintegrate with the toppings. The hot dog was juicy and tasty and had a good snap from the casing, but was easy to bite into. My husband ordered a "Welcome to Miami" dog which has a very tasty kielbasa and a generous, but not overbearing pickle slice. The very friendly and polite man who took our order happily subbed in cheddar for the Swiss cheese in the menu. The service was excellent and the speed of preparation was more than reasonable. We ordered fries that were clearly made fresh and they were hot and crispy. The "small" size that we ordered was generous enough for two and we couldn't eat all that was there. This is a great little local place that provides excellent and unique dogs with great quality. It's well worth a visit and I'll be going back again when I'm in the area.

Last evening was our second time eating there. Delicious hot dogs and the chili cheese fries were fantastic. His fries are very close to Kennywood french fries and the fries at the now closed Original hot dog restaurant in Oakland. And the conversation is always lively with Jim, he's a great guy!

The hot dogs were spectacular. Really enjoyed the Pittsburgh street yinzer. And I got a Kansas City chief to go for later. Yum. The owner and staff were friendly and personable. They humored me and took pictures of my hotdogs for me. The owner was very knowledgeable about hotdogs and different hotdog establishments across the country. He asked which hotdog place I loved most and told me lots of other places to try. Will definitely be back for more. Thanks for an awesome enjoyable dog!

Best specialty dogs you can get in western pa... if you haven’t been and enjoy a great dog than I suggest you give this place your business. Also if it’s during lent and their fish Sammy is available... don’t pass that up either! Took my 10 year old here for the first time tonight. In the car she asked when we can go back.. staff is the friendliest staff I have ever seen

Pittsburgh Street Dogs is a great hot dog shop in Springdale PA. The hot dogs and fries we had were delicious! There is seating inside and outside, with the outside being dog friendly. The staff here are really nice and they brought condiments and napkins to our table outside when we got our food. They also offered water for our dog as it was a hot day. Definitely recommend trying their delicious hot dogs. They offer in person orders at the counter or online ordering though DoorDash or Uber Eats!
